Free Introduction to Yoga Workshop

New to yoga? Never taken a class before?
This is the workshop for you. We cover the basics of Yoga, covering pranayama (breath), asana (poses), and touching upon philosophy. Learn how to start a safe and effective yoga practice, and start your path on a healthier and happier life!
Topics Covered:
- Basics of Breathing (Pranayama)
- Bandhas (energy centers/muscle groups that help support proper alignment and support to the body)
- Introduction to the Philosophy of Yoga
- Basic Postures of Ashtanga and Vinyasa style yoga (Asana)
- Starting and maintaining a home practice
Space is limited so pre-register now!
For the workshop, we recommend you wear clothes you are comfortable moving in, a good simple example is wearing gym shorts and a T-shirt. We have Jade yoga mats available for use, so if you don’t own a mat, you can use one of ours.
